At the moment the Club boasts 5 (Five) Senior Teams being 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Under 20’s and the Golden Oldies with a Senior playing membership of 189. Our intentions are add to a 4th Opens Team as well as under 19 teams and 2 under 21 teams, this will increase our membership to around 250.

We have recently produced 6 Golden Lions Sub Union players, 1 under 21, and 3 Under 19 Golden Lion Amateurs. Our Junior Section is the third largest in the Golden Lions Union and we have 9 sides from 8 – 18 years old with 175 members and this is growing by 10% per annum.

We have produced four Golden Lions Craven Week players. This season (2010) our Under 15’s and Under 18’s only lost one match each. Our mission is to learn about, teach and play rugby; to engage in new friendships and celebrate others' differences. We are committed to the ethics of inclusion, mutual respect and consideration, fair and safe play on the field and providing a harassment-free sporting environment.

Our goal is to uplift the club and become a bigger part of the community, helping with school coaching amongst other things.

To help us achieve our goals we need to upgrade and improve all our facilities including our fields, change rooms, flood lighting, parking bays. We are appealing for your assistance in the form of Sponsorships which will enable us to achieve our community driven mission and look forward to forging new and long lasting partnerships.

We presently have approximately 50 to 60 players on a regular basis at practice, but we would like more committed & interested players to join and get involved in what we anticipate to be an excellent & successful season. Practices at present are on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays at 19:00(7pm).
